Welcome to Vera's Ladies Apparel--where fashion and customer service come first. Vera's Ladies Apparel opened its doors in 2002, and is co-owned by the husband and wife team of Sami and Vera Boumadi. They also own and operate a men's clothing store called Boumadi Clothier, which was been in business since 1984.

Sami and Vera are also the proud parents of four wonderful children, three girls and one boy, who grew up in Copley, Ohio. After wardrobing three teenage daughters for school dances, prom, and eventually their weddings, Vera realized that there was a high demand for elegant and high-quality evening gowns. That is how Vera's Ladies Apparel began. Vera created a relaxed and comfortable environment that women like to visit to try on, purchase, and special order beautiful designer gowns. Vera's is committed to making sure that you look your best for any event, which is why they also provide their own custom alterations on site. Sami and Vera have been professional tailors for the past 30 years.

Not only is Vera a well-known business owner, she is also an active member of her local community. She has been a member of TWIGS ("Together With Important Goals") since 1991. TWIGS is a volunteer group that helps the young patients at Children's Hospital in Akron, Ohio. They help out by holding fundraisers, and also by doing lots of arts and crafts to help make the children there feel loved. Vera has also volunteered at her church "Our Lady of the Cedars," during their annual church festival by assisting in the kitchen making delicious Lebanese food.
